Fish with Billy Molls

Five days. One lake. The Modern Day Mountain Man hosts Dogskin Lake.

A Billy Molls Hosted Adventure

25 Years of Alaskan Wilderness. Five Days in Manitoba.

Billy Molls has spent 25 years guiding hunters and anglers through the most remote country in Alaska — brown bear, Dall sheep, moose, and four summers guiding salmon fishermen on wild Alaskan rivers. He's the filmmaker behind 40 full-length Modern Day Mountain Man films, the author of Alaska and Me, and one of the most sought-after storytellers in the outdoor world.

Every year Billy hosts a fishing adventure somewhere in North America — a camp he picks personally and shares with a small group of guests. In 2027, that camp is Dogskin Lake Lodge. Billy will be in camp with you, fishing alongside you, for the entire stay.

“He loves the simplicity of life on the water and fellowship with his campmates as they share stories around the fire each night.”

The Trip

Five Days on 10,000 Acres of Exclusive Water

Dogskin Lake sits deep in Manitoba's Atikaki Provincial Park — fly-in only, with 10,000 acres of water — Dogskin Lake plus our portage lakes — reserved for lodge guests alone. Walleye and northern pike, boats on portage lakes, shore lunch cooked over an open fire, and a lodge that's been hosting anglers since 1969. It's the kind of water Billy picks when the trip is his name on the door.

Billy's hosted adventures are built for families, husbands and wives, and groups of buddies — seasoned anglers and first-timers alike. Fish hard all day, then trade stories with a man who's spent 25 years guiding in the wildest country in North America.

Why a Hosted Trip Is Different

Every outfitter Billy partners with is personally vetted, and every hosted trip has him in camp from fly-in to fly-out. This isn't a celebrity drop-in — it's 5 days of fishing, shore lunches, and campfire stories with a guide who's spent his life doing exactly this. Bring your kids, your spouse, or your crew.
