Spring Bear Hunting

Combined with world-class fly-in fishing. Near 100% success rate.

Spring Bear at Dogskin Lake

Our spring bear hunts run the last week of May through the first two weeks of June — prime time when bears are active and hungry after hibernation. We limit to just three bear hunters per week, ensuring a premium, uncrowded experience.

Nearly 60,000 acres of exclusive Crown Land with 13,000 acres of prime hunting territory around Dogskin Lake. Approximately 30% of our bears are color-phased — blonde, cinnamon, and chocolate. Trail cameras monitor all bait sites.

Hunt methods: archery, crossbow, muzzle loader, or rifle. Stand options include tree stands and ground blinds at bait sites, typically a 20-minute boat ride and short walk from the lodge.
